itsme integrates ES Elektro and Hoogland-Mennens under the parent company’s trading name

Raamsdonksveer, 29 September 2016 - itsme, a leading distributor of electrotechnical and mechanical products and services for the (manufacturing) industry, is going to integrate the company names ES Elektro and Hoogland-Mennens under the trading name of the parent company. From 1 January 2017, both companies will be continuing under the name “itsme”.

“With this integration, we are optimising our services even more and we have a clear proposition in the eyes of our clients”, says Taco Leeflang, director of itsme. “itsme is preparing for the future and is taking advantage of the fact that electrotechnology and mechanics are moving closer and closer together. By integrating ES Elektro and Hoogland-Mennens into itsme we can offer the market a broad and complete package of electrotechincal and mechanical solutions and products. Clients can rely on one supplier for competent support and delivery of both products with one order, one delivery and one invoice. This is unique in the Netherlands.”

The two distribution centres in Dordrecht and Raamsdonksveer will be merged while staff from the sales office in Dordrecht will continue their duties from the branch in Rotterdam. By doing this, the itsme distribution centre in Raamsdonksveer will deliver more than 20,000 electrotechnical and mechanic products from stock starting January 2017. The merging of both companies means that there will also be a considerable increase in the level of service, while clients can carry on doing business as usual with the contact person they know and trust.

As well as the Netherlands, itsme is also active in Belgium, Germany, Romania and Spain.
